Instagram scheduling
Plan Instagram posts with the media and permissions they need.
Prepare your Instagram content
Draft captions and attach finished images or video. Feed posts support image carousels; Stories and Reels use their own media formats. Use templates or the included content calendar for an initial prompt, then tailor it to your business.
Connect a professional account
Instagram publishing requires a professional account and the permissions requested during connection. Stories require an Instagram Business account. Connect the account from Accounts and check its status before scheduling. Personal accounts are not eligible for this publishing workflow.
Schedule and check delivery
Choose a date and time in the composer, then review the post in Calendar. A scheduled post is queued, not yet published. Review failures in the workspace and correct account access or media issues before retrying. Provider approval and API availability affect delivery.
Understand your results
Instagram insights depend on the permissions and metrics your account provides. Missing insights are shown as unavailable. Publishing status and provider performance answer different questions; review both when deciding what to post next.
